In December 2002, St\u00e9fan is elected as a Corporate Member of the Irish Planning Institute. He is\u00a0<\/p>\n
also sanctioned by An Bord Pleanala to engage in further studies and completes a Diploma in\u00a0<\/p>\n
Environmental Impact Assessment Management at the Dublin University in 2002. During 2003 he\u00a0<\/p>\n
is also sanctioned to attend the Planning Summer School, held at the University of Wales, under\u00a0<\/p>\n
the auspices of the Royal Town Planning Institute. In December 2003, returns to South Africa and\u00a0<\/p>\n
in February 2004 and founds PERCEPTION Environmental Planning. The focus of this\u00a0<\/p>\n
consultancy is primarily on Urban Planning projects and Heritage Impact Assessment throughout\u00a0<\/p>\n
the Western- and Eastern Cape. In June 2007 completes a course in Architectural & Urban\u00a0<\/p>\n
conservation at the University of Cape Town.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Prior to 2001, he acquired experience within the South African public sector during respective\u00a0<\/p>\n
employment terms with Mossel Bay Municipality, George Municipality and Eden District\u00a0<\/p>\n
Municipality (c. 5.5yrs). He also spent time in the private sector (c. 0.5yrs) when joining Aikman\u00a0<\/p>\n
